San Antonio Tourist’s top posts of all time

The end of the year is a time of reflection, so I thought it would be interesting to see which of my blog posts have been the most popular.

I began writing this love letter to San Antonio in June of 2010, and I now have 238 posts that document my amor eterno for America’s best town. I’ve also written a guide book that boils my blog down into a portable check list…a passport of fun…for you and your BFFs. (It makes a great gift!)

I’ve had 132,800 visitors to San Antonio Tourist since 2010, and 16,401 visitors logged on in 2024, my best year yet. Thanks to all of you who’ve been here from the start, and bienvenidos to those of you just joining the fiesta that is San Antonio!

One of my favorite things to look at is the number of visitors from countries outside of the U.S. Here’s a graphic of the Top 20 views by country since 2010. Thanks to the world travelers of Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Philippines, India, Germany, China, Australia, Brazil, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Russia, Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Hong Kong and Austria! We look forward to your visits, and we think you’ll love San Antonio as much as we do.

Without further ado, the top 10 posts of all time are:

El Paraiso

Fiesta on Main/Alamo Fiesta

Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto

Sunken Gardens

St. Anthony de Padua

Salado Creek Greenway (Tobin to Oakwell)

Tower of the Americas Happy Hour

Salado Creek Greenway (410 to Lady Bird Johnson)

Big Lou’s Pizza

Granted, many of the above posts were written in my blog’s infancy, so they’ve had time to compound their interest. Here’s a look at the top 10 posts of 2024. Interestingly enough, only San Antonio Weekend Getaway debuted this year:

St. Anthony de Padua

Taco Cabana Happy Hour

The “Field of Dreams” adage, “If you build it, they will come,” definitely applies to my blog. Thanks to all of you who make the work worth it. Please let me know if there’s a San Antonio spot you think I need to cover. Here’s to more fun and adventure in the new year ahead!
